About The Role
The Commercial Electrical Superintendent leads field operations on large commercial and industrial projects and partners closely with the Project Manager to deliver profitable, high-quality work. You will oversee crews, manage resources, ensure safety and code compliance, and drive jobsite performance from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage crews of 15–75 electricians and field staff
Oversee materials, tools, equipment, and manpower planning
Enforce safety standards and high-quality workmanship
Use company systems for time entry, production tracking, and material orders
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA-70E, and all safety and construction codes
Develop project work plans and forecast manpower needs in coordination with leadership and HR
Read, understand, and communicate contract documents, schedules, and field changes
Run effective jobsite meetings with GCs, Project Managers, and engineers
Provide daily reports and maintain strong organization across multiple priorities
Mentor, coach, and develop field leadership while resolving issues proactively
Coordinate installations with other trades to keep projects on schedule
What We’re Looking For
10-30 years of commercial electrical experience (large project leadership preferred)
Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Proven leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects

About The Role
The Commercial Electrical Foreman leads day-to-day field operations on commercial and industrial projects. You will manage crews, coordinate work, ensure safety and quality, and work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to deliver projects on time and on budget.

About The Role
The Commercial Electrical Leadman works closely with the Foreman or Superintendent to lead field crews and execute high-quality commercial and industrial electrical installations. You will help plan work, supervise daily tasks, ensure safety and quality, and keep projects moving on time and on budget.
What You’ll Do
Lead and supervise a crew of up to 4 electricians and helpers
Install, test, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment
Organize conduit and wire runs per drawings, specs, and code requirements
Troubleshoot electrical issues and oversee proper terminations and inspections
Enforce safety procedures and quality workmanship on the jobsite
Coordinate work with other trades to keep projects on schedule
Help maintain timelines, work plans, and jobsite organization
Perform hands-on electrical work including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in active jobsite conditions
What We’re Looking For
5–8 years of commercial electrical experience
Journeyman’s License preferred

Proven ability to lead a small crew and manage daily manpower
Strong technical skills in electrical installation and troubleshooting
Solid problem-solving and communication skills

Position Summary:
As an Electrician at Design Electric, you’ll be a hands-on problem solver, technical expert, and team player contributing to the success of complex commercial electrical projects. Your work ensures our clients receive quality craftsmanship while upholding the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial environments
Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to execute installations accurately
Collaborate with project leadership and team members to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
Mentor apprentices and helpers, creating a positive learning culture on the job site

Must-Have Qualifications:
4-6 years of hands-on electrical experience

Physical ability to meet the demands of the job (climbing, lifting, working outdoors, etc.)

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced electricians on commercial construction projects, learning the trade while helping install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. Assist with installing and repairing electrical materials, devices, and fixtures
Measure, cut, and prepare conduit, Unistrut, and materials using hand and power tools
Learn conduit bending and fabrication of supports
Pull wire for branch and feeder circuits

Participate in daily safety meetings, job briefings, and stretch-and-flex routines
